My pup Barclay started on Acana Grain free chicken Due to vet pressure to give him grains and when Acana Healthy Grains option arrived I switched He regularly eats the fee range poultry recipe. At times he has had the red meat option. He eats twice a day with no grazing. He is now 3.5 years old, a bit bigger than most cavies at 20 lbs but declared ideal for his build by vet. He was biggest pup in his litter. He has had no digestive issues and no signs of allergies even when he eats some human food or food of other dogs. He came from a strong blood line and a very responsible breeder. Know the health issues with cavies but so far no heart murmur or other issues He loves to chew bully bones and has occasional crunchy treats. He is food driven and could easily gain weight if diet not controlled
I am happy with his progress and unconditionally continue this routine unless there is supported evidence to change due to a new health issue.
